Tuesday, May 21, 2019: Long Exposures Book Release Party

Join the PLHC for a book release party for Long Exposures: Repeat Photography and Parks as Portals to Learning.

This work is a collection of essays written in 2018 by Parks as Portals to Learning participants. Spanning the work of senior scholars, staff, graduate students, and undergraduates, Long Exposures investigates the history of Rocky Mountain National Park’s visitors centers through repeat photography and archival research.

Together, students from the CSU Department of History and Center for Literary Publishing, a unit of the CSU English Department, wrote, edited, and published this work. Details about their experience developing this project and writing the book can be found here.

This publication is also available as a free ebook through Mountain Scholar.
