The Office of the Vice President for Research at Colorado State University has recently announced that the Public Lands History Center has been awarded the honor of being designated a Program of Research and Scholarly Excellence (PRSE)! Programs are awarded this designation for achieving great distinction and setting a standard for excellence in research, teaching and service that may serve as a model for programs throughout CSU and beyond. PRSE designation will provide the PLHC with enhanced visibility and enable advocacy in the context of the larger research and training missions of CSU. The honor comes with an annual graduate fellowship and access to additional annual competitive funds during the four-year designation.
